If any of this sounds familiar

Perhaps something frightening or overwhelming happened, once or many times, and it still affects you now: through memories that resurface unexpectedly, feeling constantly on edge, or a sense of safety that hasn’t come back.

Perhaps an accident or injury has left you unable to face returning to the place it happened, or the activity that caused it.

Or perhaps you are living with a diagnosis or persistent pain that has reshaped daily life, and you are tired of the suggestion that it might not be real.

Why online

Online delivery is not a compromise on the quality of care. Many people find it easier to speak openly on screen than in person, and fitting sessions around work, caring responsibilities, or reduced mobility after an injury means fewer missed appointments, not more.

It also allows us to match you with the clinician best suited to your specific difficulty, rather than whoever has a room available nearby. Research indicates online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for many people.

We’re an online-first service by design, but in-person appointments can be arranged for an additional fee where that’s genuinely what you need. Your clinician can talk this through with you if it’s something you’d prefer.

Who’s treating you

Every clinician is a doctoral-level clinical psychologist: trained to look at your whole situation, not just one part of it, and to stay with you as your main point of contact throughout treatment. This matters in practice: if things turn out to be more complicated than they first seemed, the same clinician continues working with you, rather than referring you elsewhere partway through.

Every clinician is an appropriately registered practitioner psychologist, selected for relevant specialist expertise and trained to look at your whole situation, not just one part of it. Your psychologist remains your main point of contact throughout treatment, so if things prove more complex than they first seemed, the same clinician can continue working with you rather than handing you over partway through.
